What this site is

First China Journey is an English-language planning and introduction service. Tours are operated on the ground by our licensed partner travel agency in China; your booking contract is with the operating agency and is confirmed in writing — itinerary, inclusions and itemised price — before any payment is made.

Quotes and prices

Quotes are prepared for your actual dates, group size and hotel level, and are valid for the period stated on the quote. The "from" prices on this site are: 8-Day Golden Triangle from US$1,590 per person; 10-Day Classic China from US$1,890 per person; 10-Day Pandas & Peaks from US$1,990 per person; 14-Day Grand Tour from US$2,390 per person; 21-Day Silk Road & Grand China from US$4,490 per person. The 30-Day One Month in China tour and all road trips are price on request, each quoted individually. Every price is per person, based on 2 sharing, 4-star hotels, private guide & driver, entrance fees and intercity trains; international flights are not included. Your written quote for your actual dates is always the price that applies. What's included and not included is listed on each tour page and restated on your quote.

Booking, deposit & cancellation

A deposit of 10% of the tour price confirms your booking; the balance is due 30 days before departure, and bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment. If you cancel: 30 or more days before departure — full refund, minus costs already incurred; 15–29 days — 70% refund; 8–14 days — 50% refund; 0–7 days, or no-show — no refund. Issued flight, train and cruise tickets are refunded per supplier rules. The full terms are on the Booking & Refund Policy page and in your booking confirmation.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your passport, visa (or visa-free eligibility), travel insurance and international flights. We check visa routes with you and book everything listed as included inside China, but entry decisions rest with the border authorities.

Changes

Itineraries can shift for weather, site closures or transport changes; where that happens we substitute the closest equivalent and tell you as early as we can. Cancellation and refund terms are on the Booking & Refund Policy page and in your booking confirmation.
